Aaron spent most of 2005 working at Storyteller Productions in Brooklyn, with director/cinematographer, Andrew Berends. Working with 150 hours of footage Andrew shot in Iraq in 2004, Aaron cut two feature documentaries, The Blood of My Brother, and When Adnan Comes Home. The Blood of My Brother recently had its world premiere at IDFA, the documentary film festival in Amsterdam.

Previous to his experience at Storyteller, Aaron had the unique experience of working with three legendary documentary filmmakers, interning for Bill Moyers and Al Maysles, and studying under D.A. Aaron graduated from Yale, with a BA in film studies, and was awarded the Howard R. Lamar prize for best senior film, for “The Same Moon.” He currently resides in New York City.
